Great Red Spot of Jupiter

The Great Red Spot on planet Jupiter is a gigantic storm which is also known as the eye of Jupiter.
So gigantic that it could actually fit about 3 planet Earths.
The Great Red Spot is a anti-cyclonic storm (High-Pressured Storm). Scientists say that the Great Red Spot could be over 400 years old. And, the Great Red Spot is in the same latitude since earliest observations. It rotates in anti-clockwise direction(Counter-Clockwise direction).
The colour of the storm changes from red to salmon and sometimes to light-pink because of the presence of sulphur and phosphorus with ammonia crystals and it is not connected to the surface of Jupiter. And, the Great Red Spot of Jupiter is possibly shrinking. It has lost about 15% of it's size between 1996 and 2006.Winds gush into the storm at the speed of about 420 kph.
